Alumnus Donates "Hollywood" Promotional Videos
The 18 minute high school video was shot over a week in the spring of 2001 & was first shown at the 2001 Parish Polish Summer Festival. It features interviews with current students, teachers, coaches and staff, as well as numerous alumni.

The 12 minute grade school video was shot over a two week period in the spring of 2003 & was first shown at the 2003 Parish Polish Summer Festival.  It features interviews with teachers, parents and current students of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elementary School.

Fr.Ptak recognizes both videos as incredible gifts to our school community.  "We could have never afforded to have one, let alone two, professional videos made for our schools" remarked Fr. Ptak.  "The professional caliber of these videos is outstanding!"

Mary Cerulla, Mt. Carmel's Development Director, is beyond excited to have such wonderful marketing tools available.  "The videos are a wonderful asset and a welcomed addition to my marketing package.  Families interested in our school have the ability to view first hand via the videos the wonderful educational opportunities that exist at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel."

Simply listed as "Anonymous Productions" in the credits, OLMC's own Hollywood insider took time off from a busy schedule to personally supervise the filming & editing of both videos. "I just want to give back a little to the Church & School that gave me so much. In the movie business, morals & standards are often sold to the highest bidder & lowest common denominator. I think I have been able to stay true to myself & to God, thanks to the good values I formed thanks to OLMC. Whenever I have a moral question about something, I just think back to my days in religion classes or in church as an altar boy.

I still consider my true best friends, to be be those I made at MC so many years ago. I just wanted to help MCHS tell  potential students & their parents about some of the great things MCHS has to offer. When I went to school at MC it was special.  You knew the teachers were not there for the money, they were there for the kids. The coaches & teachers really cared about each student; everyone got special attention. I had good friends that went to other bigger schools & they often got lost in the shuffle & impersonal bureacracy. No one got lost at MC, if I had a problem, it got noticed & I could always talk to someone who really cared.  I am happy to see that today Fr.Ptak has kept OLMC's traditon of family oriented, affordable, quality Catholic education alive. I know the videos will make it possible for people who have never visited the school to see what a great place it continues to be!"
